Hey All,
Hope you’re well!
I started this from the day Arjun was born. “Mom’s One Line a Day” is a cool way to
compare your child’s development over time and also as a collection of
memories. It’s in a diary format which
allows a quick and easy way to capture the everyday moments of mummyhood especially with my severe case of baby brain! With enough space to jot down a thought or a special event each day for five years, this
keepsake will enable me to reflect back on what we did over the past year(s) and share it with Arjun too when he's older.
I don’t always get the chance to physically write in the
book, so I keep a note page in my phone and put key things down in there daily –
be it a new development e.g. his first smile/laugh, meeting someone, visiting a
new place or a bad night! I then play catch up and write up a few in the actual
diary after a few days.
Today's entry includes: attending music and movement; getting weighed (a hefty 19 lbs and 11 ounces!); visiting Pav masis (aunts) for the first time... Super excited for the arrival for her little one!
I purchased mine from Amazon for £11: Mom's One Line a Day
I'd love to hear about any other ideas you have on
recording memories!
